What this website collects
This is an information website. It has no account signup, contact form, booking form, newsletter form, or checkout.
Netlify hosts the site. To serve pages and protect its service, Netlify can receive request details such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time of a visit. See Netlify's privacy notice for more about its handling of data.
If you email us, we receive your email address, your message, and any name or other details you include. Sending an inquiry is your choice. We may not be able to answer if you do not give us a reply address or enough detail about your request. Do not send passwords, wallet recovery words, ID documents, or full financial account records.
You can choose to save one cookie to keep the cookie notice closed for 180 days, about six months. It stores only a fixed notice preference, not a unique visitor ID. We do not use it for advertising or analytics. Closing the notice without saving sets no cookie. See the cookie policy for how to remove it.
Why we use information
- To deliver the pages you request and keep the website secure.
- To answer messages, privacy requests, and complaints.
- To take steps you ask for before a possible service agreement.
- To meet legal duties and deal with legal claims where needed.
A message to us is not, by itself, consent to join a marketing list. The newsletter signup link leads to a separate service.
Legal grounds where EU or UK law applies
For hosting and security, we rely on legitimate interests in keeping this website available and safe. For general inquiries and complaints, we rely on legitimate interests in answering people and resolving their concerns.
If you ask us to take steps before a possible contract, we use the details needed to take those steps. Where we must keep or disclose information to meet a legal duty, that legal duty is the ground. Where we rely on consent for a use, you can withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of an earlier use.
Who may receive information
Recipient categories include the hosting and security provider, Netlify, email and business record service providers used to handle your message, and people who help us maintain the website or answer a request.
Information may also go to professional advisers, courts, or public authorities where needed to meet a legal duty or deal with a legal claim. We limit disclosure to what is needed for the purpose.
This notice does not give us permission to sell your data, add you to a marketing list without the required permission, or use it for unrelated purposes.
Processing in the United States and other countries
UCT Holding LLC is based in the United States. Website requests and messages can therefore involve US processing. Service providers may also process data in other places where they operate.
Where EU or UK law requires safeguards for a transfer to a separate provider, the transfer must use a lawful route. This may be a decision that the recipient country or recipient provides adequate protection, or approved contract safeguards. The route depends on the provider and the data involved.
Netlify explains its international data handling and transfer safeguards in its privacy notice. To ask about a transfer or the safeguards relevant to your information, email diego@sonderbergresearch.com.
How long we keep information
Our policy is to keep inquiry records while we handle your request and any related follow-up. After that, we keep them only where we have a clear need, such as an active dispute, a legal record duty, or a related service relationship. We do not keep messages forever just in case they may be useful.
To decide when to delete a record, we consider whether the request is closed, whether follow-up remains likely, whether a legal duty sets a period, and whether the record is needed for a current or reasonably expected claim. We delete or remove identifying details when the reason for keeping them ends.
Hosting and security providers set retention rules for the logs they hold. Relevant provider rules also apply to routine backups. You can ask us about the period or criteria that apply to a particular record.
Your rights and choices
Depending on the law that applies, you may ask to see your personal data, correct it, delete it, limit some uses, or receive it in a usable format. You may also be able to object to a use based on legitimate interests. You can object to direct marketing at any time.
Some rights have limits. For example, a legal duty or a valid legal claim may require us to keep certain records. We may need enough information to confirm your identity, but you should not send an ID document unless we explain why it is needed and provide a suitable way to send it.
Email diego@sonderbergresearch.com to make a request. We will handle it within the time the law requires. Where applicable law provides an appeal or complaint route, you may use it.
EU and UK users can complain to their local data protection authority. UK users can contact the Information Commissioner's Office. EU users can find their authority through the European Data Protection Board.
Outside websites
Booking, newsletter, social media, and video links take you to other websites. This site does not load a YouTube player before you choose to leave it.
When you follow a link, that website receives your visit and may collect more data under its own notice. In particular, service inquiries and bookings at sonderbergresearch.com follow that site's privacy notice. The newsletter service may have its own notice too.
Changes
We will update this notice if the website or its data use changes. A new notice does not create consent for a use that needs your consent.
